.::Blessed::.

“The ship of my life may or may not be sailing on calm and amiable seas. The challenging days of my existence may or may not be bright and promising. Stormy or sunny days, glorious or lonely nights, I maintain an attitude of gratitude. If I insist on being pessimistic, there is always tomorrow. Today I am blessed.” --Maya Angelou

Since sometimes I have a tendency to focus on the negative things in my life, with this kit I tried to refocus my energy into something positive---the many things that I have been blessed with. My children, of course...a husband who stands by me no matter how weird and moody I get. Basic good health. An irrepressible sense of humor--so very necessary when I start spending so much time on those negative things--and general contentment with my life. OH...and Starbucks iced coffee. ;D What are your blessings? Big or small, silly and serious..let's hear them! Post them here and I will pick a winner or two--one big winner to win a $10 GC to my store and 2 other winners that will win my new kit Blessed. I'll post a winner Saturday night @ 8-10 PM EST...so don't forget to check back(I'll also post on my FB).

My husband and I were blessed until this last February with the best dog in the world. We had her for almost 16 years and miss her a lot. Three days ago we picked up our new puppy - a 9 week old miniature schnauzer that came available very suddenly. We call her Lucky because that's what we got - lucky.

I'm so blessed to have a wonderful supportive husband and a daughter who is just too wonderful for words. I really thank God for them everyday, they've made my life so much better than it was before I knew them! :)

my children are the best thing in my life. I love them all dearly, I've fought for them, held them through the bad times, laughed through the good. They are my inspiration.

Gorgeous kit, thanks for the chance!!! I'd say my biggest blessing is my family's health which was hard to come by. :)

My biggest blessing is definitely my children. It took me awhile to have them and I have treasured them and am so grateful that I got to be their mom.

This kit went straight to my wishlist when I got the newsletter yesterday. Thanks for a chance to win it :)

My biggest blessing is the fact I am recovering from uterus cancer. Add to that my parents, my sister and my little kitten.

My blessings are my husband and son - a cliche, I know. I was in a very very bad place when I met my husband. I'd come out of my first marriage to a guy who wouldn't let me go to work, have friends, and I was also told I would never have a child as I had PCOS. Nearly four years ago I met my current husband who allowed me to shine. He allowed me to be me, and in fact actively encouraged my little eccentricities and my weirdness...last July we had our baby boy - a miracle since I had lost three before. So every day I wake up and see my husband and smile, and then I see my son, such a bubbly little man. Both love me for me!

My Blessings: it may be cliche-ish, but since we are in Colorado where fires are all around us. Life, and a place to live. Family and friends, too.

Thanks for the chance to win.

A luxurious kit!
I have a tender husband.
And there are three children. I grew up as mother with them, too. Therefore they are my sun forever. I thank for everybody being healthy!! :)

Love the Qoute by Maya Angelou
The biggest blessings in my life are my children, my best friend who happens to be my husband, and my dogs. They bring me laughter, joy and sometimes tears but I wouldn't change my life if it ment they wouldn't be in it.. thanks for the chance to win such a beautiful kit

I am so blessed with a loving husband who respects me, children who have grown into good friends who love my grandchildren, and above all, the blessings of a loving kind Father in Heaven who is guiding my life to help me return home.
Thank you for your lovely kit and this opportunity to reflect on the good parts of life. Parts are hard.

Too many to list but as a beginning -- a great husband of 35+ years, two good kids, a beautiful granddaughter who spends her days with me, a garden filled with beauty, a beagle that always makes me smile even though she spent the first five years of her life in a puppy mill as a breeder, good friends who know age is a matter of mind, lots of books, eye sight, a good computer ... and on and on. I am, I sometimes believe, too blessed.

Over the past 3 years, I have had to learn how to be thankful for the simple blessings in my life. I am so blessed to have a place to live, have 3 beautiful children and a wonderful husband who strives to provide for us even through all of the setbacks. :)

I'm 44 years old, single without children. But I feel totally blessed anyway because I have four nephews, all boys between 16 and 6 months. They have given me a Spiderman-medal for being the best aunt ever.

Oh! This is actually a hard post because there is so much for which I'm grateful. However, I'm going through a rough patch right now and sometimes it is hard to feel grateful during such times. But, I thought about this response all day and realized that what I'm currently most grateful for is in fact the difficult situation because after it is over and I work on rising to meet the challenges ahead of me, I will be a wiser, stronger and even more grateful person at the end of it all.

The kit is BEAUTIFUL and it would be great to win it, but honestly, I feel like I have already won in a way b/c the process of thinking about the answer to this question really made me feel better about what is going on.

Thank you.
