Ophelia

"Doubt thou the stars are fire;
Doubt thou the sun doth move;
Doubt truth to be a liar;
But never doubt, I love."--from Hamlet, by Shakespeare

Oh gosh..isn't that romantic? Definitely some of the most romantic lines penned by Shakespeare and one of my favorites!

Ophelia is based on the tragic story of Ophelia from Shakespeare's play, Hamlet. This kit is richly colored and darkly romantic..unique and perfect for adding a touch of the dramatic to your projects.

A Letter to My Daughter

"A daughter is the happy memories of the past, the joyful moments of the present, and the hope and promise of the future."
A Letter to My Daughter is very special to me. It was inspired by not only my own daughter, but all the young ladies out there who are inching closer to womanhood--and to all the mothers who are searching for a way to say "I am so proud of who you are".
The elements of this kit were very specially thought out and I have to really thank my creative team for their thoughts and inspiration.
There are 20 beautiful papers, a gorgeous (and versatile) pearl alpha and: 1 dress form, a vintage ballet poster, a metal heart with rose petals, a cameo, a purple rose, a very old album, pearls, a metal frame with diamond accents, a round metal frame, a vintage paper frame, 1 "daughter" word art, 1 quote word art, 5 descriptive word tabs, 1 tag with the letter D and 'daughter', 1 blank tag, 1 branch of wisteria, 1 light purple flower, 1 charm w "precious daughter" engraved, 1 wisteria wreath "brush", 1 leafy twig, 1 stitch and sequin cluster, 1 white string, a purple and green ruffled ribbon, 1 old handmade paper flower, 1 leaf w brown paint, 1 leaf cluster, 2 large lace mattes, 1 lace, 1 hanging ribbon cluster, 1 flat ribbon, 1 flower, 1 fabric flower w gem center, 2 buttons, 1 purple ribbon, and finally...a letter to my daughter.

Book Series!

I loooove to read series. I get so attached to the characters and the world the author creates(if she does it well), it's almost like revisiting friends every time I read a new book in the series or re-read old favorites. I'd say maybe 90% of the books I read are part of a set. In particular, I read urban fantasy books..some refer to them as paranormal or supernatural or even sci-fi, some may even be classified as PNR(paranormal romance). Gosh, I have read sooooo many!! Some of my favorites are:

....the Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs, the Georgina Kincaid series by Richelle Mead, Rachel Morgan by Kim Harrison, the Sookie books by Charlaine Harris, and the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning. I'd highly reccommend any of these!! Richelle Mead, for one, I think can do no wrong..she has 3 book series that I adore...the Kincaid series pictured above, the Dark Swan books, and my very favorite YA series(I usually don't like much YA)---Vampire Academy:
Anyone else read urban fantasy and would like to reccommend a series? Others I have read and liked---Queen Betsy, Black Dagger Brotherhood, Urban Werewolf, the dragon books by Katie MacAllister....I would love to try out some new things!
