Down Came The Rain...Freebie

I spent a long time thinking about which retired kit I wanted to offer to you all as a freebie. I thought of Savannah...which was probably the most popular of the older ones. Then I thought of Dear Santa, which is one of my personal favorites. But, in the end, I chose Down Came The Rain.
I created Down Came The Rain when my grandmother passed away last year...it helped me come to terms with not only her passing, but the death of my father too. It's funny how one sad thing can put you in the mind of another sad thing...until the memories collide and you don't know how to separate one pain from the other.
Because I figure most of us have lost someone important to us...and because I am a firm believer that you are not telling 100% the truth if you only scrap the happy things...I offer Down Came The Rain to you. Maybe it will act as the catharsis that it did for me or maybe it will just be a pretty kit for you to add to your stash. =)

This is a very cool kit. I can see you creating this. Isn't it funny how life can be so dramatic as to stir our creativity.

I won't be downloading this beautiful kit simply because I like to design my own papers and elements. However, I just want to say that it is not only beautiful in its own right but because of the reason for its creation. Also, I agree with you about scrapping the sorrows as well as the joys.
